Italian Shoemakers is a leading footwear company specializing in Italian-designed and manufactured products. We work with multiple factories across Italy and distribute to major retailers and e-commerce platforms across the United States.
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Logistics Manager to oversee the flow of product from our factories in Italy to our Miami distribution center and ultimately to our customers.
This role requires hands-on coordination not only with freight providers and warehouse operations, but also directly with factories to actively manage production timelines and ensure on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate production timelines with factories in Italy, including XF dates and shipment readiness
- Ensure factories are aligned with customer delivery deadlines
- Proactively follow up with factories to keep production on track and prevent delays
- Manage international shipments (ocean & air) from Italy to Miami
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers
- Ensure timely customs clearance and compliance with import regulations
- Align inbound shipments with customer delivery schedules
- Coordinate with warehouse for receiving and outbound shipments
- Ensure compliance with retailer routing guides (DSW, Kohl’s, JCPenney, etc.)
- Communicate shipment updates to internal teams, sales reps, and customers
- Identify and resolve logistics issues quickly and efficiently
- Monitor and optimize freight costs
- Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of shipments and orders
Qualifications
- 3–7+ years experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export operations
- Experience with international freight (ocean and air)
- Experience coordinating with factories and managing timelines
- Knowledge of U.S. customs and import procedures
- Experience working with retail distribution is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
