Assistant Property Manager
As an Assistant Property Manager, you'll play an essential role in ensuring a seamless living experience for our residents. Your responsibilities will include supporting property operations, leasing, marketing, budgeting, and resident relations. You'll lead by example-delivering excellent customer service while helping to drive occupancy and property performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading by example, living the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture of Murn
- Ability to communicate well, both written and verbal
- Managing delinquency by collecting resident rent and posting rental receipts
- Maintaining occupancy levels by conducting informative tours of the community resulting in new leases
- Creating Positive Resident interactions and leading by example
- Ensuring that the community’s interior and exterior are exceptional and the team has a crisp, professional appearance
- Coaching, mentoring and motivating team members
- Working weekends when prospective residents are out looking for their new home; two weekends per month with two days off during the week
- Being the lead when the Property Manager is not present
Qualifications: Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role!
- 1–2 years of experience in property management, leasing, or customer service (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with property management software (Entrata preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and solutions-focused
- Passion for leasing and a commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to travel between sites (if assigned multiple locations) and attend training events, and company functions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
