SUMMARY
Responsible for establishing and maintaining genuine customer care, oversees and is accountable for the operation of a garden center, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, expense control, human resources management and managing operating costs and shrinkage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives store sales by ensuring that all customers are acknowledged, customer projects needs are met, and concerns are resolved quickly

Maintains quality and stock levels of the Garden Center

Monitors the cleanliness of the Garden Center daily

Provides information to customers on the care of flowers and plants

Develops, implements, maintains, and coordinates aggressive and creative merchandising plans which maximize sales and variety

Supervises Garden Center Associates to ensure efficient labor utilization and effectiveness in meeting department objectives
-
Manages the Garden Center department receiving, invoicing, pricing, shrink control, and inventory to ensure proper product control and gross profit goals are met

Supervises the Garden Center safety
-
Follows and NFI policies and procedures along with any State and Federal Regulations.
