Job Summary
Alumanate is seeking an experienced, hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our overnight manufacturing operations. This leadership role is responsible for leading production employees, building a culture of accountability, achieving production goals, improving communication, monitoring operational performance, strengthen processes across the operation, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, high-performing team.

JOB DUTIES
- Lead and supervise overnight production employees across assigned manufacturing lines and work areas.
- Maintain a visible and active presence on the production floor throughout the shift.
- Set clear expectations for safety, attendance, productivity, quality, behavior, and workplace conduct.
- Monitor production performance, including output, downtime, scrap, quality, labor efficiency, and other key performance indicators.
- Review production results and take action when performance is below expectations.
- Identify operational problems, determine contributing factors, and support corrective actions.
- Make timely decisions when staffing, equipment, quality, material, or production issues arise.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Engineering, and management to resolve production concerns.
- Assign employees based on production needs, staffing levels, qualifications, and workload.
- Support daily production scheduling, labor allocation, and workflow coordination.
- Coach and develop employees through regular feedback, instruction, cross-training, and performance support.
- Address performance, attendance, behavior, and policy concerns promptly and consistently.
- Partner with Human Resources and management regarding employee coaching, disciplinary matters, and documentation.
- Improve communication between shifts through clear handoffs, production updates, and documentation.
- Ensure employees receive consistent training and understand established work procedures.
- Support the development and improvement of standard operating procedures, work instructions, checklists, and training practices.
- Promote accountability for product quality and ensure employees follow established quality standards.
- Enforce company safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
- Support housekeeping, organization, and 5S expectations throughout production areas.
- Complete shift reports and communicate production results, staffing issues, downtime, quality concerns, and unresolved problems.
- Promote continuous improvement and encourage employees to identify safer, more efficient, and more consistent ways of working.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or management role.
- Experience leading, coaching, and holding employees accountable in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Experience monitoring production performance and using KPIs or operating metrics to improve results.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to address employee performance, attendance, conduct, and accountability concerns.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, supervisors, managers, Human Resources, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments.
- Comfortable working in an environment where processes and systems are continuing to develop.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a 12-hour shift.
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs or ladders as needed.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Able to work the overnight 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., including alternating weekends.
PREFERRED
- Previous leadership experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, logistics, industrial, or other operational environments.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process improvement initiatives.
- Experience in continuous, high-speed, or 24/7 manufacturing.
- Experience with root-cause analysis, process improvement, and corrective actions.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Pay: $58,240.00 - $72,800.00 per year
