Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director at Parkside Assisted Living at Cumming, GA to lead our senior living community with passion, expertise, and a commitment to exceptional resident care. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of facility operations, ensuring compliance with health regulations, managing staff, and fostering a warm, welcoming environment for residents and their families. Your leadership will drive quality care delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within the community. Duties
- Provide visionary leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality assisted living services aligned with regulatory standards and best practices in senior care.
- Oversee daily operations including staff management, resident services, and facility maintenance to promote a safe, comfortable environment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to individual residents’ needs, including Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and disability services.
- Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, health policies, and licensing requirements through regular audits and staff training.
- Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, financial management, healthcare financial management, and resource allocation to sustain operational efficiency.
- Supervise care facility teams including nursing staff, caregivers, administrative personnel, and support staff; foster a positive team culture through effective leadership and supervision.
- Maintain strong relationships with residents’ families by providing transparent communication regarding care plans and community updates.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, scheduling, and communication purposes to streamline operations.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within nursing homes or assisted living facilities with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, health regulation policies, and assisted living standards.
- Strong background in nursing home administration or healthcare facility management; experience in nursing home or senior living facility operations is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care strategies, memory care programs, and resident-centered approaches.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in disability services is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for administrative tasks such as report writing and data analysis.
- Exceptional supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively while fostering collaboration.
- Financial acumen including budgeting skills and healthcare financial management experience.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols within assisted living settings.
- Excellent communication skills to engage residents’ families and coordinate with healthcare providers effectively.
