Keiter is seeking a Tax Associate to join our growing Tax Consulting group. This is an opportunity to work with a diverse client base across a multitude of industries. You will gain hands-on experience preparing and reviewing tax returns, researching tax issues, assisting with tax planning and compliance projects, and supporting clients in navigating complex tax matters. What You'll Do:
As a Tax Associate, you will:
- Prepare tax returns and assist with tax compliance, research, and planning engagements
- Communicate and collaborate directly with clients to build strong professional relationships
- Develop proficiency in firm technology, including tax preparation, research, and workflow management software
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment while supporting the delivery of exceptional client service
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Accounting Systems
- Course load sufficient to sit for the CPA Examination (CPA license or progress toward licensure is preferred)
- 0-2 years of public accounting experience in Audit
- Solid technical and analytical skills in general accounting, auditing, and financial reporting
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Pay
- The anticipated hiring range for this position is $68,000-$71,700 and is dependent on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
