Experienced Tree Climber / Tree Cutter
Full-Time | 5 Days a Week | Prevailing Wage | Overtime | Benefits
We are looking for an experienced Tree Climber / Tree Cutter to join our growing team. This is a full-time, year-round position with consistent work 5 days a week.
The majority of our work is performed for towns, municipalities, and public agencies, with very little residential/private work. This means steady work, professional job sites, and the opportunity to work on larger municipal tree projects.

Responsibilities
- Safely climb and work in trees using proper climbing techniques
- Perform tree removals, pruning, trimming, and hazard reduction
- Operate chainsaws and other professional tree-care equipment
- Safely rig and lower limbs and sections of trees
- Work as part of a ground and climbing crew
- Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
- Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organized
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of safety and workmanship
Qualifications
- Previous professional tree climbing/cutting experience required
- Strong knowledge of tree removal and pruning techniques
- Comfortable climbing and working at height
- Experience operating a chainsaw in a tree
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding outdoor work
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to work as part of a crew
- Must take safety seriously and follow proper procedures
