Primary Responsibility: Effectively assist with the leadership of fellow team members within the Department.
Primary Accountabilities:

Perform Team Lead functions in the absence of the Team Lead.

Assist with the assigning of Team Members tasks associated with a production work center
-
Prep and set up jobs as scheduled on the board. For example, team member is close to completing a job. The next job that they are to begin work on will be ready to go. All paperwork has been reviewed, material is ready for them to begin work.

Help the Team Lead to ensure schedules can be met

Communicate issues that may prevent the successful completion of planned work in an effective and timely manner

Assist with ensuring work is being done in line with company Quality Policies

Assist with the flow of materials within the department including ensuring kits are available to meet production demands

Coach employee owners with job related issues

Help carry out decisions that are associated with overall goals and objectives as stated in our company policies and as directed by Management

Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Must have strong communication skills to communicate with other employee owners, team leads, and production supervisors.

Previous leadership experience is desired

Basic math and computer skills

Highly organized with ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must have a positive attitude with a customer appreciation mentality

Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis

Ability to stand and perform repetitive work for long periods of time

Attention to detail with the ability to problem solve

Operate with a sense of teamwork
