Restorative Aide
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Restorative Aide to join our team at Serenity Estates of Freeport, a renowned long-term care facility in Freeport, IL. As a Restorative Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting our residents with their daily activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Help residents with daily living tasks, such as eating, walking, and transferring
Assist with meal preparation and food service
Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents
Document resident care activities and progress
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff
Requirements
CNA certification required
Ability to lift, transfer, and ambulate residents safely
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
