Experienced CNC Operator - 1st Shift

Located in Albertville, Minnesota – just 20 miles northwest of Minneapolis on I-94 – Fraser Steel’s 80,000-square-foot design and fabrication facility is a hub of precision and performance. With over 30 major work centers and the capacity to produce more than 2,000 unique items annually, our shop floor sees more than 200,000 parts per day move through our logistics “grocery store.”
SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Manufacturing CNC Operator/ Tool Maker to join our team. This role combines design engineering with a strong emphasis on process development, production support, and continuous improvement. This is a safety sensitive position.

Essential Responsibilities
- Ensure use of appropriate raw material pursuant to work instructions
- Operate CNC to complete jobs using information learned pursuant to CNC Operator Training Checklist (Basic machine functions, alarms, set-ups, etc.)
- Ensure quality of parts produced pursuant to work instructions
- Appropriately package finished materials
- Perform daily preventive maintenance
- Maintain safe work environment by following all procedures
Other Responsibilities
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor
- Learn to operate additional equipment
- Comply with 5S standards
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of previous manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and work instructions
- Excellent communication abilities
- Basic Math skills

Schedule
