The Numbers Person Everyone Relies On
Every team has that one person who just gets it, the one who keeps things balanced, catches what others miss, and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
We’re looking for that person.
If you take pride in clean books, accurate numbers, and staying two steps ahead of what needs to get done, this could be a great fit.
What your days will actually look like
This isn’t a sit-and-wait kind of role. You’ll be in the flow of the business every day:
- Reconciling bank accounts and making sure everything lines up the way it should
- Keeping cash drawers balanced (yes, daily, it matters here)
- Managing invoicing across multiple departments (you’ll touch 5 of them)
- Handling incoming mail and keeping the paperwork side of things organized
- Staying on top of payables and receivables such as sending, tracking, collecting, closing the loop
- Supporting the bigger picture with balance sheet work and general ledger upkeep
- Making sure payroll, taxes, and documentation are accurate and squared away
- Working independently but not in a silo. You’ll collaborate when needed, step in when it counts
What makes someone successful here
We’re less interested in buzzwords and more interested in how you work:
- You’ve been a bookkeeper before and know your way around the full cycle
- Excel doesn’t intimidate you so you use formulas and lookups without thinking twice
- QuickBooks Online is familiar territory
- You understand payroll, reconciliations, and the moving pieces of A/P and A/R
- You’re organized in a way that other people notice
- You’re accurate with numbers…because details matter
- You don’t need constant direction, you figure things out
- You bring a good attitude with you (it makes a difference here)
- And honestly? You have solid common sense which is something no software can replace
A little about the role
This is a position where trust and consistency matter. The work you do has a direct impact on how smoothly everything operates behind the scenes.
It’s a good fit for someone who:
- Likes working independently
- Prefers doing things right the first time
- Enjoys being the person others count on to keep things steady
If you’re the kind of person who finds satisfaction in a perfectly reconciled account and a clean set of books at the end of the day, you’ll probably feel right at home here.
Apply and let’s talk.
