We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping & Customer Service Coordinator to oversee the timely and accurate shipment of company materials while delivering exceptional customer service. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth operations, accurate documentation, and positive customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Documentation
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, handling customer service needs, writing purchase orders (POs), creating routers, and managing all related correspondence.
- Provide customer service support to additional clients as needed.
- Prepare and applies labels/barcodes
- Maintain customer paperwork in accordance with customer specifications.
- Correct and revise invoicing issues promptly.
- Schedule customer pickups and ensure accurate communication of shipment details.
Shipping & Material Coordination
- Oversee proper shipping of company materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Order structural materials and office supplies as needed.
- Perform shipping clerk duties when required.
- Clock jobs as they are completed to maintain accurate workflow tracking.
- All other duties as assigned
Required Competencies
- Strong math skills, including the ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Previous shipping and receiving experience
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Forklift experience
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Shift: M-F 7a-4p
Pay: $20-$24 (DOE)
