We are seeking a skilled Drafter with hands-on metalworking experience and advanced proficiency in SolidWorks to help bring our lighting solutions to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed drawings and 3D models for metal fabrication projects using SolidWorks
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and shop personnel to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Revise drawings based on feedback or design changes
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in metalworking, fabrication, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (required)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and material properties
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- [Optional: Associates degree or technical certification in drafting, engineering, or related field]
Preferred:
- Experience with sheet metal design
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Pay: $28.04 - $33.77 per hour
