We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for our civil construction division. Candidates must have strong, hands-on experience operating loaders, excavators, dozers, and other earthmoving equipment in site development and underground utility environments.
Position Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, and other heavy equipment in support of civil sitework and earthmoving projects
- Perform mass grading, fine grading, trenching, backfilling, and material placement
- Excavate for underground utilities including water, sewer, and storm systems
- Maintain proper slopes, elevations, and grade tolerances
- Load trucks and move materials efficiently while maintaining safe jobsite awareness
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip equipment inspections
- Work closely with foremen and grade checkers to meet project specifications and timelines
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in civil construction and site development
- Proficiency operating loaders, excavators, and dozers (multi-equipment experience strongly preferred)
- Ability to read grade stakes, laser levels, and/or site plans
- Strong understanding of jobsite safety and underground hazard awareness
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying site conditions

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
