Overview
Join our dynamic Human Resources team as a Human Resources Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in supporting our organization’s people strategies and fostering a positive workplace environment. This energetic position offers the opportunity to engage in a wide range of HR functions, from talent acquisition to employee relations, ensuring smooth operations and compliance across all HR activities. Responsibilities
- Assist with talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through various channels, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding activities such as employee orientation and training programs.
- Support employee evaluation procedures by gathering performance data, preparing documentation, and facilitating performance management initiatives.
- Contribute to benefits administration by processing enrollments, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
- Maintain accurate HR data entry; ensure data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
- Aid in compliance efforts by supporting affirmative action planning, regulatory compliance management, and ensuring adherence to employment & labor law standards including FMLA and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with workforce management tasks such as scheduling, project management for HR initiatives, and organization design support to optimize staffing levels.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism while communicating effectively across departments to support HR department goals.
Experience
- Previous experience in an HR department or related administrative role is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with human resources management practices.
- Strong knowledge of employment law in talent management, workers' compensation procedures, and HR legal compliance is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel for data analysis), HR systems (such as Oracle HCM or UltiPro), ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems like iCIMS or Lever), and payroll processing platforms (Paychex, ADP) is required.
- Excellent communication skills combined with organizational ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects related to training & development, succession planning, performance management, and employee relations initiatives.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
