Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements in a timely and professional manner
- Serve food and beverages accurately and efficiently, including wine and specialty drinks, maintaining proper presentation standards
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests for additional items or assistance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- Handle food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures during service
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and payments with accuracy
- Support catering setups and breakdowns, assisting with food preparation and presentation as needed
Skills
- Previous experience in the food industry or culinary environment is highly preferred
- Strong guest services and guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette, beverage service, and wine knowledge is a plus
- Experience with banquet or catering service enhances your ability to handle diverse event types
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for accurate order taking and billing
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling, and food preparation practices
- Excellent communication skills combined with a positive attitude and teamwork spirit
