Director of AI Strategy
The Role
The Director of AI Strategy will serve as the firm’s internal AI leader, responsible for turning our strategic AI vision into practical, firm-wide initiatives. This role will oversee AI platforms, manage vendor relationships, drive adoption across departments, and ensure all AI implementations operate within the firm’s governance, security, and compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the firm’s AI initiative roadmap and project tracker across departments
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI platforms (e.g., Claude, Copilot, EvenUp, intake AI solutions)
- Build and maintain Claude knowledge bases to support practice areas and internal operations
- Develop and administer the firm-wide AI training and certification program
- Partner with department leaders to identify, scope, and implement new AI use cases
- Monitor AI adoption, performance, and ROI metrics
- Ensure all AI tools and workflows align with firm governance, security, and compliance standards
- Serve as the primary internal resource for AI initiatives and best practices
Ideal Background
- Experience in legal operations, law firm management, or professional services environments
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and enterprise LLM platforms
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
- Comfortable working between technical teams and business leadership
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technology into practical business solutions
Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
