We're looking for a Membership Sales Specialist who loves building relationships, thrives on achieving goals, and understands that exceptional service and consistent follow-up create lifelong members.
This is not simply a front desk position.
You'll be the first impression of our studio, guiding prospective members from their initial inquiry through becoming engaged members of our community. If you're energized by connecting with people, following up consistently, and celebrating every membership you earn, you'll thrive in this role.
What You'll DoDrive Membership Sales
Sales is the primary focus of this role.
You'll be responsible for turning inquiries into memberships through relationship-building, consistent communication, and exceptional follow-up.
Responsibilities include:
- Responding promptly to new leads via phone, text, email, and in person
- Conducting studio tours and introductory consultations
- Learning about each prospect's goals and recommending the membership that best fits their needs
- Confidently asking for the sale and overcoming objections through education and relationship-building
- Following up consistently with prospective members until they've made a decision
- Promoting memberships, retail, workshops, and studio events
- Maintaining detailed notes and follow-up activities within our CRM
- Contributing to monthly membership and revenue goals
Create an Exceptional Member Experience
You'll help create the welcoming, supportive environment that Unite Fitness is known for.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting every member by name whenever possible
- Building genuine relationships with members
- Supporting new members throughout their first 30–90 days
- Helping members stay engaged in their fitness journey
- Assisting with scheduling, account management, and general member support
- Communicating studio updates, events, and promotions
- Collaborating with instructors and leadership to create an outstanding experience
Support Daily Studio Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio
- Assist with administrative tasks and client account management
- Help ensure smooth studio operations during busy class times
- Participate in community events and promotional activities
- Take initiative and solve problems before they become issues
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has proven success in sales and enjoys building relationships.
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven sales experience with measurable results (membership, retail, hospitality, fitness, automotive, phone sales, or similar)
- Confidence making outbound phone calls and following up consistently with prospective members
- The ability to confidently ask for the sale while creating a positive client experience
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn CRM and scheduling software
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- A self-motivated mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- A passion for helping people improve their health and wellness
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed

- Consistently converting Intro Offers into memberships
- Maintaining timely follow-up with every lead
- Building lasting relationships with members
- Contributing to monthly sales goals
- Helping improve member retention through proactive outreach
- Creating an exceptional first impression for every prospective member
- Taking ownership of your responsibilities and contributing to a positive studio culture
Required Availability
This role requires in-person availability during several of the following shifts:
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm
