Our client, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking a Product Development Technician to join their team. As a Product Development Technician, you will be part of the Product Development/R&D Department supporting engineers, laboratory teams, and cross-functional project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Product Development Technician
Location: Brea, CA (On-site)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Pay Range: $27.00 - $35.00/hour
- Execute laboratory testing and follow established test protocols.
- Gather, organize, and maintain technical data, reports, and engineering documentation.
- Support engineers with prototype development, test setups, and equipment qualification activities.
- Assist with laboratory operations, including equipment calibration, maintenance, and safety compliance.
- Document, analyze, and communicate test results to engineers and project teams.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 4-6 years of laboratory experience or technician experience in a regulated environment.
- Experience following written procedures and working effectively within a team setting.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in documenting technical data and test results.
- Ability to perform laboratory testing and support multiple technical projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory or R&D environment.
