Join our hospital team as a Custodian in Atascadero, CA. You’ll help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role involves cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility, performing light maintenance, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness. Day and night shifts available, Monday through Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, and common areas
- Remove trash and restock supplies
- Perform light maintenance tasks and report issues to supervisors
- Maintain exterior areas (entrances, plants, etc.)
- Ensure facility security during and after shifts
Qualifications
- Prior custodial/janitorial experience and knowledge of cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with safety procedures and basic handyman tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physically able to stand, walk, lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) and high school diploma preferred; must be 18+ and eligible to work in the U.S. (We E-Verify)
