Job Summary
The WSOP Retail Sales Associate is the face of the first-ever Official WSOP Store. You will provide "The Pro Standard" of guest service, actively promoting exclusive merchandise. You are responsible for maintaining a "Gold Standard" floor appearance, managing high-volume transactions, and ensuring every guest leaves with a piece of the poker dream.
Responsibilities
1. The "All-In" Guest Experience
- Spotlight on Service: Greet every guest with a smile, providing a warm and energetic atmosphere for international tourists and high-profile players alike.
- Poker Expertise: Develop a "Pro-level" understanding of product assortments, poker terminology, and tournament specifics to better assist guests.
- Total Rewards: Be the expert on the Caesars Rewards program, ensuring guests maximize their benefits with every purchase.
2. Operational Excellence
- Fast-Paced Sales: Operate cash registers with speed and accuracy, handling all payment transactions and upselling "hot" items and promotional bundles.
- The "Gold Standard": Maintain visual merchandising standards; ensure apparel is folded to planogram specs, softlines are hung by size, and signage is accurate.
- Inventory Readiness: Receive, unpack, and replenish daily deliveries of merchandise to keep the floor "Tournament Ready."
3. Teamwork & Integrity
- Together We Win: Partner with fellow associates and supervisors to manage high-traffic "peak hours" during the tournament series.
- Asset Protection: Use sharp guest awareness to deter theft and maintain a safe, organized environment.
- Communication: Relay "slow/fast seller" information to management and ensure a seamless handoff between shifts.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or high-volume customer service is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal skills; ability to explain product features and tournament details.
- Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment during the world’s largest poker event.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays to match tournament play.
Physical Requirements
- Standing: Required for the duration of the work shift (excluding breaks).
- Labor: Ability to lift, carry, and transport merchandise/supplies up to 50 pounds.
- Maneuverability: Ability to perform repetitive tasks (folding, hanging) and use ladders for visual merchandising and restocking.
