Move-Out Coordinator
Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour, plus KPI bonuses
Job Type: Full-Time
Industry: Property Management / Residential Maintenance
About the Role
TrueDoor Property Management is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Move-Out Coordinator to join our team.
This is a hands-on position that combines move-out inspections, rent-ready estimating, vendor coordination, and quality control. You’ll play an important role in transitioning rental homes between residents, identifying necessary repairs, coordinating work, and helping ensure properties are ready for their next move-in.
Experience in property management, construction, maintenance, or estimating is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person. If you are organized, comfortable working in the field, good with people, and interested in learning more about residential construction and property management, we encourage you to apply.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough move-out inspections to document property condition, damages, cleaning needs, and necessary repairs.
- Prepare detailed rent-ready estimates and scopes of work to prepare rental homes for new residents.
- Meet with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and coordinate necessary work.
- Review and negotiate vendor pricing when appropriate.
- Coordinate vendors and contractors to help ensure work is completed on time.
- Perform quality-control inspections to verify completed work meets company standards.
- Conduct move-in inspections to ensure properties are ready for new residents.
- Document property conditions with detailed notes and photos.
- Post required notices at properties when needed.
- Communicate professionally with residents, property managers, vendors, contractors, and clients.
- Track multiple move-outs and rent-ready projects while following up on outstanding work.
- Provide backup support for after-hours maintenance emergencies when needed.
What We're Looking For
We are willing to train the right person!
- Experience in property management, construction, maintenance, estimating, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of residential repairs and construction is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify property condition and repair needs.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple properties, vendors, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable communicating and negotiating with contractors and vendors.
- Comfortable using computers, mobile apps, email, and property management software.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Willingness to learn residential construction, estimating, inspections, and property management processes.
- Are highly organized and have strong follow-through.
- Enjoy solving problems and finding solutions.
- Can remain professional and composed during difficult conversations.
- Take ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do next.
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer
- $23.00–$25.00 per hour
- Full-time position
- Health and dental insurance
- Paid time off

- Opportunities for advancement within the company
- Positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment

Who Would Be a Great Fit?
You may be a great fit if you have experience in property management, maintenance, construction, home inspections, estimating, restoration, facilities, or another field-based position.
You don't need to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone who is dependable, takes ownership, pays attention to details, communicates well, and is willing to learn.
If you're looking for a hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same and you can build valuable experience in property management and residential construction, we'd love to hear from you.
