Position Overview
Apex is seeking sharp, entrepreneurial, and tech-savvy Venture Analysts to join our digital consulting network. In this role, you will act as a strategic matchmaker, helping aspiring entrepreneurs cut through the noise to find their ideal business paths. You will analyze our clients’ unique profiles—evaluating their personal interests, skills, available hours, and starting budgets—and synthesize that data into an actionable, low-overhead business blueprint.
As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you are entirely the captain of your own ship. You have absolute freedom over how, when, and where you work, with your earning potential limited only by your own drive and execution.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Client Analysis & Assessment: Vett and evaluate comprehensive client onboarding profiles to understand their unique skills, background, and passions.
- Market & Hustle Research: Source, analyze, and track active, low-cost digital and local business trends to maintain an innovative database of viable business models.
- Custom Blueprint Synthesis: Map client profiles against potential ventures to engineer a highly personalized, step-by-step launch playbook.
- Ecosystem Recommendation: Curate the optimal "tech stack" and digital resource list tailored to the specific software required to get the client's hustle running smoothly.
The 1099 Contractor Framework (Independence & Earnings)
This position operates strictly under a 1099 Independent Contractor agreement. Apex provides the platform, brand credibility, and service ecosystem, but your business structure belongs entirely to you:
- Complete Schedule Autonomy: You are responsible for setting and managing your own hours. There are no mandatory shifts or clock-in times; you work when you are most productive.
- Client Acquisition Management: While Apex routes a pipeline of interest, you are directly responsible for managing your pipeline, engaging leads, closing deals, and maintaining your client relationships.
- Uncapped Income Control: You dictate how much money you make. Because your earnings are tied directly to the volume of custom blueprints you generate and the clients you bring into the service, your revenue potential is entirely up to your personal work ethic and scaling strategy.
Position Requirements & Must-Haves
- Proven Technical Experience: (Non-Negotiable) You must be highly proficient with modern digital software ecosystems. This includes direct experience navigating CRMs, workflow management tools (e.g., Notion, Trello, Asana), communications platforms, and basic AI or automation tools. If you struggle adapting to new software quickly, this position is not a fit.
- Strong Research Capabilities: Ability to cross-reference data points swiftly, fact-check business viability, and spot emerging digital trends before they hit the mainstream.
- Excellent Written Communication: Ability to synthesize complex business ideas into clean, highly readable, actionable, and encouraging written guides for everyday consumers.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Because you are running your own desk as an independent contractor, you must possess strong self-discipline, time-management skills, and a natural hustle mentality.
