Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant is a key member of the accounting team and serves as the Controller’s primary partner during the monthly close process. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, preparing journal entries and reconciliations, analyzing financial results, and helping ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant who enjoys taking ownership of the accounting cycle without the responsibility of managing staff.
· Prepare and post complex journal entries.
· Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate variances.
· Complete assigned month-end and year-end close responsibilities.
· Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.
· Prepare supporting schedules for monthly financial statements.
· Analyze financial results and identify unusual trends or fluctuations.
· Assist with fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
· Prepare quarterly sales tax filings.
· Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
· Participate in special projects as assigned by the Controller.
· Assist as needed in other accounting areas.
Qualifications
· 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant responsibility for month-end close.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred but not required.
· Advanced Excel skills.
· Experience with ERP accounting systems.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
· Experience improving accounting processes and implementing efficiencies.

Pay: $76,376.86 - $91,980.73 per year
