Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with students and educators to assess, develop, and implement effective communication strategies. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs in pediatric populations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs
- Provide direct speech therapy or support under supervision, focusing on improving articulation, language skills, fluency, voice, and social communication
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure consistent progress across settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate families on strategies to support their child's communication development at home and in daily activities
Experience
- Prior school-based experience working with children in pediatric or early childhood settings is highly preferred
- Experience conducting patient assessments using standardized tools and clinical observation techniques
- Strong understanding of early intervention principles and practices for young children with speech or language delays
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in educational environments
- Excellent communication skills to engage children, families, and team members effectively

Pay: $45.00 - $63.00 per hour
