Territory – Cape Cod
A family owned and operated business, Fairview Millwork and Kitchen Design is currently looking for a dynamic, organized, and driven individual to sell our products to the thriving home building community on Cape Cod.
Fairview has been a staple in the industry for trade and residential sales, selling and manufacturing home building materials; specializing in Windows, Doors, Millwork, Decking and Kitchens. For 73 years we have served the communities of New Hampshire, South Shore and Metro South of Massachusetts and Cape Cod. This is a commission-based sales job with base pay and a yearly bonus based on sales volume responsible to build and nurture relationships with trade customers.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
- Prospecting for new business by identifying and qualifying leads - as well as going out on company generated leads
- Developing and managing your residential and trade network relationships
- In-home presentation to residential clients
- Meeting Sales goals and targets
- Develops and maintains relationships with major store customers to ensure their continued satisfaction.
- Creatively think for new methods or approaches to gain new business
- Attend networking meetings in the community
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Two years of industry related outside sales experience in building materials, millwork and kitchen design
- Must be able to do take offs
- Product knowledge: Residential millwork, windows, doors. high level of special order business and ability to read blueprints for accurate ordering
- Must understand calculating gross margin and compute pricing
- Spruce operating system. Ability to learn software packages.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Internet, Word, and Excel.
- Must possess the entrepreneur spirit, be self-motivated, and enthusiastic about our business.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and attitude.
- Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Must be a team player and ability to get the team working together for common goals.
- Must be analytical and able to solve problems.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be ethical and honest.
- Must be dependable and have a current state issued driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Must be legally entitled to work in the United States.
- Must be able to read, speak and write the English language to communicate with vendors, customers and other branch employees.
