As our Residential Foreman, you will be the lead person in the field, responsible for running entire residential remodeling and construction projects from planning through final punch list and client handover. You will manage all on-site operations, crews, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of residential projects from start to finish (ground-up additions, major renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, and custom homes)
- Manage daily field operations and supervise carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors
- Maintain project schedules, coordinate trades, and keep jobs on time and on budget
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building plans
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Handle client communications and walkthroughs on-site
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times
- Complete punch lists and deliver projects ready for final client approval
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Foreman or Lead Carpenter in residential construction and remodeling
- Proven ability to successfully run full projects from hand off thru completion punch list
- Strong knowledge of all phases of residential construction (framing, finishes, plumbing, electrical, roofing, siding, etc.)
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and keep them on schedule
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Local candidates strongly preferred
