American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a weekend day shift contract at a Level I Trauma community hospital.
-
Inpatient and outpatient CT setting within a Level I Trauma community hospital
-
Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
-
Work setting experience spans inpatient, outpatient, ER, and adult ICU environments
-
Uses GE CT scanner and PACS system
-
Charting via MediTech (experience required)
-
Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
On-call required as needed for call-off coverage
-
Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
-
Current BLS certification required
-
ARRT certification with formal radiologic technology training from an AMA-approved school required
-
IEMA certification required
-
Experience with GE CT scanners required
-
Proficiency with PACS, IV starts, phlebotomy, and contrast administration required
-
MediTech EMR experience required
-
Experience across inpatient, outpatient, ER, and trauma settings required
-
License required if applicable
-
Applies prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis while practicing radiation safety methods at all times
-
Selects appropriate technical factors to minimize re-exposure in accordance with equipment operating guidelines

Performs CT procedures requiring independent judgment, initiative, and working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy

Provides patient-centered care by communicating procedures clearly, reducing patient apprehension, and adhering to patient rights policies
