JOB DESCRIPTION Lab Technician 4863
Location: East Houston, TX area
Position Summary:
The Lab Technician is responsible for analyzing routine and non-routine samples in the laboratory.
Essential Functions:
- Receive and store samples in appropriate areas
- Prepare glass ware and samples for analysis
- Conduct quality checks on equipment
- Utilize a variety of instrumentation to analyze petroleum samples
- Instrumentation can include but is not limited to ICP, distillations, Karl Fischer, viscosity, FTIR, pour point, etc
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in a Science discipline
- 0-1 year of industry experience
Skills and Abilities:
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-task and stay organized
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Mon Fri 7:30 am 4 pm
Salary:
$19-$20/hr Based on Experience
