Duties
- Lead and supervise water mitigation projects, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Coordinate with clients, insurance adjusters, and team members to develop effective restoration plans
- Perform water extraction, drying, cleaning, mold remediation, and fire damage restoration tasks using appropriate tools and techniques
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, asbestos abatement, and construction-related activities
- Oversee the proper use of equipment such as moisture meters, air movers, dehumidifiers, and specialized cleaning tools
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and complete, including reports on progress and completion
- Train and mentor technicians on best practices in restoration procedures and safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in the restoration industry with knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively under tight deadlines
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in construction and remediation projects
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members
- Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning and debris removal with precision
- Knowledge of safety standards related to asbestos abatement and hazardous material handling
- Familiarity with industry-specific equipment like moisture meters, air movers, dehumidifiers, and cleaning machines
