Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Boulder, CO area. This onsite role spans from August 4 through May 21, 2027, working across Centaurus and Justice High Schools in Lafayette and Louisville. With a part-time schedule of 24 hours per week (0.6 FTE), the exact hours will be determined in collaboration with school leadership.
The ideal candidate will bring experience and a passion for supporting students’ speech and language development in a high school setting. Qualifications and required experience:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, or documentation that it is in process
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs
- Minimum of one year of classroom-based experience
- Strong background in school-based speech and language services
- Ability to work onsite across designated high school locations
- SLPA qualifications will not be accepted for this position
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language therapy to high school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and provide thorough documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and ongoing progress monitoring
