$17.00/hour

40 hours per week

9-month position from mid-August to mid-May. If interested, summer hours may be available through HIT, Inc.

Children attend Head Start on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Wednesdays are used for classroom prep and staff training.

May obtain CDL to drive small school bus. Head Start pays for CDL training.
Essential job duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Adhere to all principles of confidentiality.

Clean Head Start areas and bus.

Maintain playgrounds – i.e. snow and ice removal, mow, sweep sidewalks, pick up trash, etc.

Prepare and cleanup for meals and snacks.

Assist in the classroom.

Grocery shopping.
-
Report bus mileage.
-
Submit maintenance request for facility maintenance and bus upkeep.

Attend Safety and Sanitation training.

Successfully complete CPR and First Aid

Drive bus routes, when applicable.
