Manufacturing Engineer
Location: North Reading MA
Contract 1+ year
We are hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support new product launches and manufacturing process development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new products.
- Create work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation.
- Support production line setup, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Work with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
- Perform process validation, line balancing, and cycle time studies.
- Support APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
- Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
- Drive continuous improvement for safety, quality, and productivity.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
- Experience with production line/process development.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience creating SOPs and work instructions.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Industries:
Automotive, EV, Aerospace, Industrial Manufacturing, Heavy Equipment, or Medical Devices.
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
