Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Donut Decorator to join our bakery team. Duties
- Decorate donuts with icing, sprinkles, glazes, and other toppings to create attractive designs.
- Ensure all decorated donuts meet quality standards before packaging.
- Assist in packaging finished products efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Prepare donuts for display or sale by applying appropriate garnishes and decorations.
- Maintain a clean work station, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to manage production flow during busy periods.
- Follow recipes and decorating techniques to ensure consistency across products.
- Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed within the bakery or kitchen environment.
Skills
- Experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or related culinary fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry.
- Strong attention to detail for precise decoration work.
- Ability to operate kitchen tools such as knives safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with baking processes and food production techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with customers or team members.
- Previous restaurant or catering experience is a plus.
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
