Contract Registered Nurse (RN) - St. Louis, MI
Care One seeks dedicated RNs for immediate full-time positions in St. Louis, MI,
- St. Louis Correctional Facility
- 12:00pm - 10:30pm
- Rotating weekends and holidays
- PTO
- Weekly Pay
Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care services, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Assess patients' healthcare needs through routine evaluations and develop individualized nursing care plans accordingly.
- Conduct health screenings for patients or clients.
- Respond to emergency healthcare situations as needed.
- Collect and document data related to patients' health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners, and educate patients on treatment methods.
- Offer health education and instruction on promoting health and managing illnesses, diseases, injuries, or disabilities.
- Responsibilities may vary based on departmental assignments.
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
- Ability to relate to and treat diverse patient needs.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, management, and documentation.
- Experience with venipuncture and intravenous therapy.
- Ability to work in correctional facilities regardless of patient demographics.
- Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and collaboration.
- Integrity and sound judgment in handling confidential matters.
- Adaptability to changing organizational needs.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
