What do you get to do as a Maintenance Technician ? The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining agency facilities, equipment and grounds. The Maintenance Technician performs repairs as well as preventative maintenance assuring agency facilities, equipment and grounds are maintained in accordance to federal, state, county, local, and Agency standards/requirements.
JOB DUTIES:
- Perform general maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Communicate with appropriate home supervisors/managers and other staff to complete needed repairs and upkeep of homes, offices, equipment and vehicles.
- Complete maintenance requests through electronic work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules performing required tasks per federal, state and local requirements including but not limited to Medicaid, Dept. of Health (Life Safety), DD Licensure, local fire and health departments.
- Responsible for coordinating repair work of agency vehicles, plus regular care of maintenance vehicles (tire rotation, warranty work, oil changes)
- Be available for weekend/evening on-call duty on a rotating schedule with other maintenance staff (when needed).

What do we need from you?
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Experience in performing general building, grounds, and equipment maintenance
