Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Glazing Estimator specializing in mirrors, shower enclosures, glass replacement, and commercial glazing projects. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate measurements, managing client relationships, and coordinating with project teams to ensure seamless execution. Your expertise will help drive successful project outcomes by providing precise estimates, effective negotiation, and comprehensive understanding of construction processes.
Duties
- Prepare detailed and accurate measurements for glazing projects including mirrors, shower enclosures, glass replacements, and commercial
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to develop competitive pricing strategies and negotiate contracts that align with project budgets and timelines
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions, labor costs, and material prices for effective cost control
- Assist in the development of project schedules and resource planning to optimize workflow on-site and minimize delays
- Maintain detailed records of all estimating activities, contracts, and project documentation to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist with field support with direct supervisor
Skills
- Proficiency in accurate measurements and details paperwork
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with clients and suppliers
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes related to glazing installations including site preparation, material handling, and safety standards
- Experience with construction site operations and understanding of construction management principles
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders across multiple projects
