Job Summary
The Warehouse Receiving Associate supports our customers by ensuring incoming products are received accurately and stored properly. This entry‑level role involves unloading freight, verifying shipments, inspecting for damage, and recording inventory in our warehouse management system. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming freight
- Verify shipments against packing lists and purchase orders
- Process deliveries from UPS, FedEx, and common carriers
- Record inventory accurately and place items in proper warehouse locations
- Operate pallet jacks and powered equipment (forklift experience a plus)
- Maintain a clean, safe receiving area and follow all safety standards
- Assist with inventory counts and other duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Entry‑level candidates welcome; warehouse or receiving experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physical environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or move for extended periods
- Basic computer skills and ability to perform basic math
- Able to read and write in English and communicate effectively
- Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Work Environment
- Warehouse setting with varying temperatures
- Physically active role involving lifting, bending, and standing
- Overtime may be required based on business needs
Qualifications: Comfortable working in fast-paced environment, Ability to multi-task, Strong attention to detail a must, Diligent and punctual, Ability to lift up to 50lbs required, Good interpersonal and communication skills, Able to read and write in English and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction), Must adhere to all quality, health and safety standards
