RedWater is seeking a strong & motivated individual to join our team as a Staff Accountant. This position offers the opportunity to work with a growing hospitality organization, and the successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of accounting functions while working closely with leadership on financial reporting, process improvements, and other special projects. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the accounting department as RedWater continues to expand.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years of accounting (or related field) experience preferred.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close
- Analyze daily revenue activity across multiple hospitality locations
- Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting
- Improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Review and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Communicate with department leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with special accounting projects and system implementations
- Respond to email / phone inquiries from customers, members, vendors & associates

- Full time (Monday – Friday, 9AM to 5PM)
