Position Overview
JMK Towing & Recovery is looking for a reliable, experienced, and professional Tow Truck Driver to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, values customer service, and can operate safely and efficiently in fast-paced roadside situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company tow trucks to transport vehicles to designated locations
- Provide roadside assistance services including jump-starts, tire changes, lockouts, fuel delivery, and battery assistance
- Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles using flatbed and wheel-lift equipment
- Perform basic vehicle assessments and troubleshoot common roadside issues when needed
- Complete dispatch paperwork, service reports, and job documentation accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, law enforcement, and motor clubs
- Maintain company equipment and perform daily vehicle inspections
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures at all times
- Represent the company professionally while delivering excellent customer service
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of towing experience required
- Experience operating flatbed and wheel-lift tow trucks
- Strong knowledge of towing procedures and vehicle recovery techniques
- Basic automotive diagnostic and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to stay calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, nights, and on-call shifts when needed
- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
