Bartender – Serrato’s Steakhouse
Job Overview
Serrato’s Steakhouse is seeking a skilled and energetic Bartender to join our team. As a key part of the guest experience, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, crafting high-quality beverages, and creating a welcoming, polished bar environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards.
- Provide attentive, professional service while engaging with guests and making recommendations.
- Accurately enter orders, process payments, and manage tabs using the Aloha POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of the bar at all times.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and promote responsible service.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Assist with food service and coordinate with kitchen staff as needed.
- Support team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations during service.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience required (fine dining or high-volume experience preferred).
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and beverage service experience required.
- Experience with POS systems (Aloha or similar preferred).
- Strong multitasking and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service and safety standards.
