Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, social customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will create a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, providing product recommendations, and helping drive store sales. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
Hours Needed: Evenings and Weekends; 3PM to 7PM, weekends 9AM - 5PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner.
- Build rapport with customers and identify their needs through active listening.
- Provide product knowledge, recommendations, and demonstrations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Accurately process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Promote additional products and services through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Assist with inventory management, stocking, and merchandise displays.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Qualifications Required
REQUIRED: RETAIL EXPERIENCE, HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA
- Must be social and outgoing.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Previous retail, sales, customer service, or hospitality experience.
- Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) are a plus.
