Registered Nurse (RN) – Nursery | Travel Contract | Night Shift

Shift: Nights (3 x 12-hour shifts)
Hours: 6:50 PM – 7:20 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Nursery unit at MedStar Harbor Hospital on a travel contract. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to newborns, collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team, and support families through the neonatal care process. This position is ideal for an RN with recent Nursery, Special Care Nursery, or NICU experience who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Nursery, Special Care Nursery, or NICU experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification (required).
- NRP certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Strong neonatal assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
