Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wines, craft beers, and specialty drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to enhance our drink menu
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods and special events like banquets or catering functions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry, preferably with fine dining or banquet experience
- Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, beer brewing, and beverage recipe development
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service times using strong time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Previous experience working with beverage programs involving spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail creation, or bar management is highly desirable
