Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment to ensure smooth operations. Your expertise will help uphold our commitment to excellence, safety, and efficiency across all manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct electrical work involving wiring, circuit testing, and electrical equipment repair to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Execute plumbing system maintenance and repair tasks, including pipe fitting, leak detection, and fixture servicing.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for carpentry, painting, facilities maintenance, and general repairs.
- Lead or assist with facilities equipment maintenance projects while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
Required Technical Skills
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) within a manufacturing or facilities environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience and the ability to read schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools (including ohmmeters), and maintenance painting techniques.
- Demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to guide others.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience specifically within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a focus on safety.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical degree or certification in a related field preferred).
