Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Build, renovate, and repair structures using various materials including wood, drywall, stucco, and plaster.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks to enhance interior spaces.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on facilities to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites as needed.
- Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or maintenance person services is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong skills in building, renovating, and repairing structures.
- Familiarity with stucco application techniques and plastering methods.
- Experience with drywall installation and finishing.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
