Now hiring for the General Manager position at Crumbl in Bend, Oregon! Crumbl is a gourmet dessert bakery with a fun rotating menu available via in-store pick up, Curbside, and home and business deliveries. The general manager will be working full time under the area manager, performing tasks such as; staffing, employee training, marketing, kitchen testing, and more. Operation hours are from 5:00AM to midnight Monday-Saturday, with 3-4 shifts throughout the day. The standard GM schedule is 8am-5pm M-F, though you will need to work an inconsistent schedule at times based on coverage needs and shift performance. Current policy is to be closed on Sundays.
Job Description:
Planning and directing the day-to-day operations of the store. Develop strategies to improve customer service and drive sales. Follow store policies and maintain high standards and conditions that foster a positive environment. Must strictly follow corporate brand standards and operating procedures. Additional responsibilities include:
- Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
- Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending Crumbl trainings; establishing personal networks; participating in community events.
- Maintain operations by enforcing all operational procedures and personnel policies.
- Maintain inventory by implementing purchasing plans and staying in contact with vendors and suppliers.
- Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilize cross-training methods to maintain productivity when employees are absent.
- Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable.
- Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development.
- Respond to customer complaints and comments.
- Organize special promotions, displays and events.
- Update colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues.
- Promote the Crumbl brand and seek out outside sales and catering opportunities locally.
- Need to be current on or be able to obtain all certification required by State of Oregon for Managers position in food handling.
- Must have a current Servsafe Managers certification.
- Should be proficient in written communication.
- Must be familiar with writing a shift schedule.
