About the Role:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at our 5,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility in Newport, DE. The ideal candidate will manage our team of packers and the special requests department, ensuring that all inbound and outbound processes run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory & Quality Control: Oversee the accurate receiving, documentation, and systemic logging of all incoming shipments and parcels.
Storage Optimization: Maintain organization and layout efficiency within the 5,250 sq. ft. facility to maximize space utilization and ensure safe storage.
Fulfillment Management: Supervise the packing team to ensure correct order preparation, accurate labeling, and timely dispatch using various shipping methods.
Special Requests Operations: Directly manage the dedicated "Special Requests" department to handle custom orders and unique client requirements with high accuracy.
Team Leadership: Train, guide, and schedule warehouse staff (packers and specialists) to maintain high productivity and a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Russian is required. (The ability to communicate effectively with the management team).
Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or a similar logistics supervisory role.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with modern shipping software, and inventory management systems (WMS).
Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems independently in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk the warehouse floor, and lift/move packages as needed.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
