Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse fabrication projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and precision fabrication skills. Duties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding to join various metals including sheet metal, ductwork, and pipe systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
- Conduct rigging operations safely to move heavy materials or assemblies on construction sites or manufacturing floors.
- Fabricate custom parts by cutting, bending, welding, and assembling metal pieces in accordance with schematics.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven construction site experience with hands-on fabrication work in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques; experience with STICK welding is a plus.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, and assembly procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and fabrication tolerances.
- Experience operating forklifts or other lifting equipment; rigging skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices.
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
