## Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
## Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items
- Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Follow proper food safety procedures and regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
## Experience
- Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with culinary terms and techniques
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience in a restaurant, catering, or fine dining setting is a plus
